Principal Design Engineer and Founder
Experienced Lift Design Engineer with over 15 years of expertise in lift modernisation, CAD design, technical project delivery, and compliance within the UK lift industry. Skilled in producing detailed GA drawings, builders work drawings, component manufacturing drawings, and 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD and Inventor.
Extensive experience working on major infrastructure and commercial projects for clients including London Underground and Network Rail, with a strong understanding of BS EN81 standards, UK lift regulations, ISO 9001 processes, and LEIA principles. Proven ability to manage projects from initial site survey and design through to manufacturing approvals, installation support, and client handover.
Experienced in coordinating with architects, contractors, suppliers, local authorities, and project teams to deliver compliant and cost-effective lift solutions. Strong background in lift modernisation, bespoke lift equipment, vehicle lifts, and technical problem solving, with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing procurement costs, and enhancing design processes.
